ISQ – A Worldwide Network of Technology and Quality

We would like to inform you that ISQ will be present at Salon International de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace - Paris Le Bourget 2011, which will be held from 20th to the 26th June 2011. ISQ's stand will be joining the Portuguese Aeronautical Cluster. We will be very pleased to welcome you there and find more about ISQ expertise and activities in the different technical domains.

ISQ is a private Portuguese entity, established in 1965, with a Group turnover, in 2009, of 80M€ (44% overseas) and a staff of 1300, with a permanent presence in 9 countries and operations in around 20 countries. Some of ISQ areas of expertise are Laboratories, Materials and Mechanical Behaviour, Civil and Electrical Engineering, Quality Certification and Technical Inspections, Research and Development.

ISQ has invested, in the last ten years, more than 55 M€ in R&D projects, national and in the different EC Frameworks, including aerospace in partnership with different organisations such as EADS, Rolls-Royce, MTU, NASA, Agusta Westland and Airbus, among others.

The high level of testing capacity of ISQ group of certified labs, offer a large range of technical expertise in space and aeronautics, to clients such as Thales Alenia Space, Snecma Propulsion Solide, ESA/ESTEC and OGMA, among others.

As members of the GIE ESQS, ISQ is providing at the European Space Center – French Guyana, in a permanent basis since 2003, technical inspections for CNES and Arianespace, to Ariane and now, as well, Soyuz.

Some other high qualified international reference clients are CERN, ITER and the European Southern Observatory.
