Grant agreement no: 2015-1-PT01-KA202-012915
Total cost: 51995,00€
Total funding: 51995,00€
Adhesive usage is growing rapidly in Europe, as it represents a strong competitive advantage for companies and industries able to muster the knowledge, competencies and techniques needed to better leverage it, at a juncture when there is a growing need for EU businesses to become more competitive through talent and innovation.
The objective of the AdTech project is to contribute to a wider adoption of this technology by delivering a European qualification standard for professionals that use this technology encompassing, in its inception, three professional profiles – European Adhesive Bonder (EAB), Specialist (EAS) and Engineer (EAE). This adoption will be fostered by improving the quality of the VET system (Vocational Education and Training), as well as by promoting the transparency, recognition of competences and mutual trust between existing VET systems. AdTech will thus contribute to boost the number and mobility of professionals capable of working with this technology, by setting up an industry-based skills network.
