ESVET project is an answer to the needs of european-wide event managers, who have low qualifications and encounter barriers to the recognition and certification of their work experience. The project will establish an ECVET platform in order to design a pathway towards European standards for Event Management enhancing the qualifications of workers within this sector. Also it is intended to promote the recognition of learning outcomes for the event manager professional profile, through the development of an assessment methodology, based in an ECVET and learning outcomes approach.
As main products, the project will improve an existing assessment platform, and will develop a system for the recognition of units of learning outcomes required for the event manager professional. For that purpose, it will be defined training units, described the action-oriented skills needed and identified learning outcomes for assessment of the event manager professional.
