Testing systems for prototypes in the aerospace industry
The ISQ thermodynamics laboratory develops testing systems for prototypes in the aeronautical and space industries. It began by developing methodologies and equipment intended for the performance of specific tests for the aeronautical and space industries and started working together with the main European entities in important aerospace programs such as IXV, CUST, SNICK FLOW, among others. With the results obtained in these tests, our lab is recognized by the European Space Agency – ESA. Among the equipment available in the lab we highlight: High-vacuum chamber and heating capacity by radiation of samples up to temperatures of 1200 ºC Traction/compression testing machine up to temperatures of 1000 ºC Different equipment for the thermodynamic characterization of materials (specific heat, thermal penetrability, thermal conductivity, coefficient of thermal expansion) under atmospheric conditions, vacuum and/or extreme temperatures (-80 ºC up to 1000 to 1600 ºC) V9 Shaker of 105 Kn for the performance of analysis of vibrations, functional, fatigue, modal and shoke with climatic chamber (-50 ºC – +150 ºC) Tailor-made equipment depending on the testing needs
