ISQ Group in the Brazilian offshore market
ISQ enters a new area of cutting edge services in Brazil - the inspection of offshore and onshore load lifting equipment.
ISQ currently has a structure in Brazil for the inspection of onshore and offshore lifting equipment which is made up of a fixed team of 23 professionals including engineers and specialist technicians with a vast experience in the inspection of:
• Offshore cranes and winches
• Lifeboat davits
• Travelling cranes, pulleys and gantries
• Turrets
• Slings
The training of a new team, consisting of 1 engineer and 2 specialist technicians who will act not only in the inspection of this equipment but also in the carrying out of load tests on cranes, is in progress.
In the Brazilian offshore market, ISQ is responsible for the inspection of this type of equipment on more than 40 oil platforms. It is also responsible for the planning of these inspections and the boarding logistics for the professionals involved.
